Forget the slopes this season… try mud instead!
INTRO:
Our latest Destination Rotorua campaign targeted those Kiwis looking for a non-ski winter getaway with friends or loved ones. The idea was to position Rotorua as an ideal destination for those people wanting a winter adventure that doesn’t involve long waits for the ski lift, last-minute run closures, or overpriced mountaintop entertainment options! Plus, we reinforced the message that there was ‘something for everyone’ in Rotorua, meaning everyone has a happy holiday.
PROCESS:
At KingSt, we are no stranger to rolling up our sleeves, so getting dirty for this muddy shoot was no exception. We were fortunate to have local photographer Graeme Murray shoot and direct live-action footage and stills photography. Sam Hamer also lent us his hand to create custom hand lettering to match the vibe.
SOLUTION:
This campaign is a good example of creating assets that work in today's media solutions, with a focus on short-form portrait executions.
